While I am not what anyone could mistake for a haute couture kind of girl, there are some fashion do's and don'ts that I have picked up over the years. Actually, I don't usually notice or pay attention to what other people are wearing but, you know, sometimes someone will present in an outfit that screams "Look at me! Look at me!" and I just can't help myself. So, here are some fashion lessons I have learned from working in this office.
1. If you insist on wearing a long t-shirt for a dress, please remember to also wear underwear.
2. If you are wearing a belt, there is absolutely no reason for your pants or skirt to be hiked up and snugly tucked under your boobs. Seriously, the boobage is not holding them up.
3. At some point, in Wisconsin, it becomes a health hazard to wear flip flops. Generally, this happens sometime in late October but if you miss that cut off date then, please, at least remember to wear real shoes after the first major snow fall.
4. All women who have a bra size of 36D or larger MUST wear a bra.
5. Changing your underwear in a public restroom is okay if you have to but please remember to dispose of the old underwear properly. Hanging them on the coat hook on the bathroom stall door is not the proper place. Especially if they have skid marks.
6. Although pigtails can look cute and youthful and give a "sassy" effect to any outfit this does not usually apply if you are bald at the top of your head and are a male.
7. No one wants to see your thong...or your buttcrack for that matter.
8. If you insist on wearing all of jewelry in all of the piercing's on your face, do not expect me to look you in the eye when you talk to me.
9. Sometimes blue and green is not a good hair color option. Especially when you have a mullet.
10. The "good" Packer T-shirt may not be the most appropriate outfit for a job interview!
That concludes my helpful fashion guide for today! You may all return to your regularly scheduled program....
