The Adventures of Arnie

Last night, I was awakened from a very sound sleep by the sound of something hitting the kitchen floor - hard. I practically had a heart attack before I realized that it was just Arnie, up to something, as usual. I went to the kitchen to see what the heck he was doing. I turned on the light to find him sitting in the kitchen sink with that look on his face. It was the "You can't be mad at me, I'm too cute" look. He had strewn all manner of kitchen goodies across the floor - the dish soap, the sponge, several spoons, and a bowl. I cleaned it up, shooed him out of the sink and went back to bed.

Tonight, I'm going to teach him a lesson. I've left about 2 inches of water in the sink. He'll get soaked if he jumps in there. That will be the last time he does that!

On an unrelated topic, the clean up after the tornado's continues here in Kenosha. People are really scrambling to get as much done as possible especially those who had partial damage. They are frantically trying to cover their shorn roofs and opened walls. Tomorrow the forecast calls for snow. The temp has dropped drastically and winter is back in full force. I keep saying how weird the weather has been here but this has been the perfect illustration of that. I don't know if this has anything to go with global warming but this is very, very unusual for a Wisconsin winter. Unusual and a wee bit scary.

Aren't you guys about to get a ton more snow?

Well putting water in the sink is more human than putting water in the sink and a plugged in hair dryer.
