Last Friday, Alex and I visited the local kitty rescue shelter. Somehow, I was talked into taking home this little beauty. This is Brigette. Of course, we love her but Arnie isn't too sure about this at all.
So, I'm reasonably certain that the chasing, pouncing and pinning behavior is a good thing if no one is wailing or getting hurt, right?
Brigette is cool. She gives as good as she gets. Both she and Arnie are only a year and half old though he outweighs her by some. I really hope that they calm down some. 'Cause if they don't - they may make me crazy!

She's just trying to make her place in her new world. I remember when we rescued Minnie from the neighborhood kids that were torturing her. She barely fit in my hand, but she would take on the biggest cat in the house and win :) Should have named her "fearless"
Happy to report that Arnie has, indeed, warmed up to her. They are fast friends in such a short time. It's a riot watching them wrestle and play!
