So it's Wednesday. And I'm done. This has been the longest week ever. Today is particular has been heinously long. Like root canal long. And it's only Wednesday.
Yesterday morning, everything was calm. It was a peaceful morning, no stress, no crisis, no tantrums. Just peace. Then we here at the agency all had an afternoon of Intensive Teaching Training. Not five minutes after we started the training the dam broke and all hell broke loose. One after the other of us were getting called out of training to address some client crisis. I would no sooner get back into the training and sit down when I would get called out again for another crisis intervention. It was madness! This lasted all afternoon and well after the training was over. I was never so glad to see the end of a day, I tell ya! I think the two days of humidity finally got to people and they just couldn't take it anymore.
So, today it's Wednesday. More of the same and I'm done. I need a nap, I need a vacation, I need a DRINK!!
