I lost 5 pounds this week! And the truth is, I didn't even feel like I tried very hard. I think what's happening is that I'm starting to notice what I eat and learning to love to find ways to cook. I mean, I've always been a good cook, despite what my siblings might say. They still have this idea of me as a kid, not knowing how to do anything. But Alex will attest that I am, indeed, a good cook.
One thing we've started doing is making sure that at least twice each week we eat vegetarian. So the other day I made this whole wheat pasta with tons of fresh veggies sauteed lightly in olive oil and sprinkled with feta cheese. It was delicious!
Anyway, that's another 5 pounds gone. That's almost 15 down since I started Weight Watchers four weeks ago. Not bad, if I do say so myself.
