Anyone wants some really bad cats?

Lately my cats have turned into little furry beastiethings that are badly in need of taming. Last night Arnie climbed on my lap and nuzzled his nose into my chin for his evening snuggle. Normally, it's charming and I appreciate it. As I was petting him he gently licked my chin and then nipped the earring right out of my right ear lobe and swallowed it! Ear lobe intact, I wasn't at all happy with this. Now I'm watching the litter box like a hawk to see if this too shall pass. So far he hasn't seemed any worse for wear.

If that wasn't enough, also last night, I walked into the kitchen to get some water and out of the corner of my eye saw Brigette sitting at the window. Only she wasn't at the window, she was OUTSIDE the window, second floor, sitting the small roof over the downstairs apartment living room windows. She was just sitting there looking in at me as if to say, "Hey! Look what I did!" She made an enormous hole in the screen, crawled out and was sitting out there all proud of her accomplishment. She would stick her head inside tempting me to get her but when I'd reach for her she'd put back and again and sit there some more. Arnie came running thinking this was the coolest thing in the world and tried to get out there but I grabbed him and stuck him in the bedroom. I layed treats on the windowsill and Brig finally came in to get them. I closed the window. Now I have to replace the screen and figure out a way to keep this from happening again.

As if this excitement wasn't enough, they spent the rest of the night tearing through each room chasing each other while I tried to sleep. I love my cats, don't get me wrong. But if someone had stopped by and asked for them, I would have gladly given them both away!! Sheesh!
