Jeezo pete...

When it rains it pours! It never fails...whenever I have a little money (and little is the operative word here) all hell breaks loose at once and pfft the money goes!

Case in point:

A couple of months ago I cashed in my IRA because I needed the cash. My plan was to pay for some legal fees, pay my taxes and use the rest for a trip to Sweden.

Plan diverted:
Legal fees still need to be paid. Taxes still need to be paid. My car just failed the emission testing so now I need car repairs. And my brakes seem to need replacing.

All of this is making my trip funds dwindle slowly down which, frankly, is pissing me off! There will still be some money there but not as much as I would like.

I was talking to a co-worker today who was also lamenting the fact that lately it seems like we work for nothing. Oh we get paid, for sure, but the paycheck comes in and goes out in the blink of an eye.

I think I'm going to get some lottery tickets. After all, someone has to win...could be me...right? RIGHT??
