The day after...

Today a gentle snow is falling lightly outside. The Christmas tree is lit with a nostalgic day after glow. The presents are opened and sitting under the tree on display. The coffee is hot and comforting. The kitties are warm and snuggling. And all is right with the world.

Here are some shots from Christmas 2009

Christmas highlights -
Singing carols at my mom's house.
Eating traditional Polish food on Christmas Eve.
My sister's house all decked out in lights.
Opening gifts at home with my husband and loving every minute of it.
Hearing little Sophie say "Mehwwy Cwismas!" with all the sincerity of a 2 year old.
Playing Charades at my sister's house. Who knew Alex would be the whiz at that game!?
Watching my oldest sister trying to act out "My Humps" and get her team to guess it. (Oh how I wish I had video for that one! LOL )
Watching my mom watch her family and smiling. She's 92 and may not have many more Christmases.

Happy New Year everyone!
