Tax time revisited...

Alexander did not go with me to the tax people. He decided he'd rather stay home which meant I ended up having to call him several times to verify visa numbers and what not. But, as luck would have it, the woman preparing my taxes had just gone through a class about nonresident aliens who are filing a tax form which, as it turns out, is how they categorize Alex right now, so he was.

At the end of the day, the tax lady managed to not only guide me through an additional form required by the IRS, she also got us twice as much in our refund. So it was a very good day.

Tomorrow they're predicting more snow for our area. Now, here's the thing...I love snow. I really do. I am the first one saying "I can't wait for the first snowfall" every year much to the chagrine of my friends and family. I like watching the snow fall. I like playing in the snow. I don't even mind driving in the stuff. But right at this moment, I am really ready for spring. I just don't want more snow. I'm over the cold weather. It was 40 degrees here yesterday and I loved it! I want some more of that and not the 12 inches of white stuff they say we're in for tomorrow night. Please let this one pass us by!
