The Reboot: Day Seven

Everything is status quo today. Nothing new to report really. Still feeling great. Slept great. Loads of energy though I opted to sleep in today. That had nothing to do with my energy level really. I just have always loved those days when I didn't need to set an alarm to wake up for anything and could just sleep until I just couldn't sleep anymore. Love that!

I have been thinking about what I might eat on my first day back with food. I want to do it right and make sure it's something really good and delicious but also healthy. The Saturday before I started this fast, I had Kentucky Friend Chicken for dinner. Now, I love KFC. Always have. In fact, if I had to eat only one fast food for the rest of my life it would be KFC. Just the chicken....no sides. That's what I had last Saturday. Just chicken. And it was good! Chicken is my favorite food which is a good thing actually because overall chicken is pretty healthy. More so than red meat. So, I'm pretty sure when I'm done with this fast next week, I'll be having chicken. Just not KFC!

I do miss eating. No, I'm not hungry but I miss the other tastes of food out there. I have veggies flavor and fruit flavor and that's it. I want some meat flavor. Sorry vegetarians and vegans, I cannot be counted among your ranks. I am fully carnivore. I also miss some starches. Potatoes, for sure. Hey, I'm half Irish...we love potatoes! And I know I'll have to have those in limited proportions because although the potato isn't necessary bad for you, it's the stuff that goes with it - the gravy, the butter, the sour cream - that will get you in the end.

So, Day Seven and all is well. I'm really on the downward slope of this thing and it's been great. I do highly recommend this if you just need a boost, a cleanse or a jump start to a weight loss. It really works! One thing though, if you are on any medication for any reason don't do this without consulting your doc. That's very important!
