A day of rest...

Last night, we went down to Slussen to watch the Midnattsloppet which is The Midnight Run. This is a huge event of 30,000 people running a foot race through Stockholm. Thousands of people lined the streets cheering them on. The area in which this race took place was deceptive because once the runners made the turn where we were standing they were met with streets that arched quickly upward, steeply and narrowing into the old part of the city. It was something to see!

My evening was cut short, unfortunately, because my arm and shoulder have been acting up and I was in some pain that wasn't going away. Still it was a good night!

Today is Sunday. Alexander is off to meet up with his music partners for the day. Something I am not a part of so I've stayed behind at the hotel to rest and give my arm a break.

This trip has been an interesting time. There hasn't been time to sight see but thats okay because we've done plenty of that before. I feel very much like we're on a work related trip and I think we are both looking forward to getting home again even though we both love Sweden so much.

We miss our time in Karlstad for sure but here, in Stockholm, seems like it's all business, business, business!
